Liftlings started the way most things do — with a problem. We were trying to find a baby shower gift for a couple deep in the fitness world. Both coaches, both competitive athletes, about to become parents for the first time.
Every gift felt wrong. Generic baby toys felt too sterile. Standard baby shower fare felt like it was ignoring who they actually were. We wanted something that said: we see you. You're an athlete. You're a parent. Both things are true at the same time.
So we made it ourselves. And then we made it for everyone.
